Jessica Specter began drawing the artwork for this deck in early January of 2023.
The birth date for this deck is considered to be 17 Mar 2023, as that is when the drawing on the final 78th card was completed.
A single pink tarot deck prototype was later manufactured to see what it looked like in person.
It wouldn’t be until 2025 that the creator would get a 52 deck run printed and finally put the project for sale to the world to enjoy.
About the Artist:
Jessica Specter is the sole creator of the Specter Pink Tarot and the Specter Cosmos Oracle. A self-taught artist, Jessica’s journey is a testament to the power of self-belief; aside from a single art class in high school, she has built her artistic career through curiosity and grit.
Born and raised on Florida’s Space Coast, Jessica earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of North Florida in 2021. Like many indie creators, she held a long-time dream of seeing her art brought to life in a physical deck. She spent years mastering every facet of the process—from digital illustration on her iPad to the complexities of print production and manufacturing logistics.
What sets Jessica apart is her “boots-on-the-ground” approach. She funded her first professional manufacturing run while working a full-time, minimum-wage job, proving that passion and persistence are the ultimate resources.
