Inspired by the rare and eerie phenomenon of thundersnow, The Last Run captures a high-tension moment of isolation on a dark mountain peak. Caught in an electric blizzard during her final run of the day, a lone snowboarder is surrounded by a sudden flash of lightning. Reflected across her visor, the jagged bolt illuminates a terrifying reality in the dark slope behind her. It isn’t just storm-tossed ice out there-it’s a visitor.
The heavy, atmospheric blues and striking neon-red tones mirror the unnatural, charged-up glow of an alpine storm under electrical duress, shifting a standard winter sport into a vivid sci-fi encounter.
